Top ten books every information professional should own

I was thinking of updating the Facet Publishing top ten books list on our website and it made me think... What if I ask our online community for their favourite book or books? So, here goes, what is your favourite Facet Publishing book and why? A mystery prize (OK, probably a Facet Publishing book of your choice) will go to the most interesting post...

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Archiving Websites

It has just been drawn to my attention that the recent Facet book, Archiving Websites by Adrian Brown, has been reviewed here...

They say that it is 'An excellent introduction to the technical issues of web archiving on a national scale'.

New for December

This is a quick note to say that I've just updated the Facet Publishing website with three new books due to be published this month. If you need further information about any of them please take a look at the website or contact us here at Facet.

Also, we are busy working on the 2007 catalogue at the moment, which will be mailed out next month and there are some exciting new titles from Paul Pedley, Phil Bradley and Martin White to name just a few. Watch this space for more info...
